WE’RE NOT TAKING THE FIFTH -- We Watched It. We Admit It.
This Episode
We could take the Fifth. We could consult counsel. We could deny everything.
But the evidence is overwhelming: we watched it.
This time, Doc G & The Discussants put politics aside and confess to what has actually been occupying our television.
We start with Apple TV’s Cape Fear, another trip into the world of Max Cady and a story Hollywood apparently cannot leave alone. We get into the series, its performances, what works, what doesn’t—and whether there was really enough left in Cape Fear to justify doing it all over again.
Then we abandon whatever claim to cultural sophistication we had left.
Trash TV Friday is back.
There’s Baylen Out Loud, 90 Day Fiancé, and Love After Lockup—an assortment of relationships, families, personalities and decisions that regularly leave us asking why anyone would do these things.
Followed immediately by the more troubling question:
Why the hell are we watching them?
We have no defense. We have no alibi. And unlike Anthony Fauci, we’re not taking the Fifth.
We watched it. We admit it.
The truth is more interesting than fiction and far more valuable than clichés or talking points.
Segment 1: Cape Fear — Did We Need Another?
In a world where every word comes padded, approved, and carefully curated, one show has misplaced the rule book. Safe spaces have been converted to storage here, and anyone saying at the end of the day will be required to explain what they did with the rest of it. Leave us a note support the show or just go shopping at dot G and the discussives calm This is doc G and the discussants on the sabbatical the doctor is the end Welcome in to doc G and the discussants on a media Trash talk trash TV Friday Where we're going to explore today?
Nothing very serious at all or with that is our aim on Friday as it is Yeah, you know it gets it does get a little overwhelming at times where I can be even get to be depressing when you think about it a little bit too much. But just before, I wanted to note this before we got started. I happened to catch an interview with Megan Romer, the co -chair of the Democratic Socialists of America on PBS, as I was driving to town yesterday. I encourage everyone, after you've listened to this show, gone to the website, done your shopping, dealt with the sponsorship, maybe contributed, after you've thoroughly digested this thing, go and find that interview.
If you want to hear something that is completely juvenile, and they talk to her for a good hour with I don't think a single good answer in the entire interview that wasn't something that you would expect out of a junior high person running for class president. And this is a serious organization now with a national movement. I encourage you to listen to the entire interview. So with that out of the way. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, once again. Who are we talking about and where do we find the interview?
Once again, it's Raymond or Megan Roemer and the interview is on PBS. So you'll probably want to go to pbs .com. and I believe that they list all their interviews on PBS .com. It was a wide -ranging interview and it was well worth the time, so I encourage you to do that. Well, as we promised, it's movies, it's culture today on Friday. A little bit later on, it's trash TV. Sarah can't wait to tell you all about that. Yeah, yeah But we thought we'd line up some things that we've been watching lately and one of the things that You kept kind of a close eye on was the new Cape Fear 10 episodes that the professor highly recommends and if you remember Cape Fear has survived a novel, the 1962 Gregory Peck Robert Mitchum film, Scorsese's 1991 remake with Robert De Niro, and a now 10 episode Apple series with Javier Bardem as Max Caddy, Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson are Anna and Tom Bowden, and the Scorsese and Spielberg are executive producers.
So how could you go wrong with a combination like that? The question is, did we need another Cape Ver or did it justify 10 hours? So the last I've seen both movies and I'm glad to say that I haven't seen this yet, but Tom says it's really good. And so I'm looking forward to it. But, you know, the movies I don't know how you stretch 10 episodes out of the movies I've seen, but it doesn't mean it isn't fantastic. So I thought that we would jawbone about that a little bit. We also on the placard today have we've been talking about the long walk as well.
So we'll see what kind of time we run in today and see what we can cover. Professor, run down this fantastic series. was the preview. The previews, or as some like to say, the trailers. I never had figured that one out. I mean, I understand why it's called trailer, but I don't like the term. But anyway, that's what, thank you, Orville, that's what brought me in. The previews seemed so good, so engrossing. I let my significant other know about it, and she was really excited by it too, so she decided to subscribe to the, whatever the service is that's carrying it, I think Apple.
Just long enough to get the 10 episodes and then drop back out. But yeah, Javier Bardem, really good. Of course, he was from old country, no country for old men. And the counselor, he was kind of a playboy pussy in the counselor, but in, of course, just the opposite in no country for old men. And then once again, the same, even more violent in Cape Fear. He'd been in prison for 17 years, and apparently, unwarrantedly. And so, I guess the plan was to seek revenge on the prosecutor. In this case, it was a female, unlike the first two, Cape Fears, and the husband was there.
He was an attorney, too. In fact, I think, I think the, I'm not sure who's who, but one of the, this married couple, one was the one who prosecuted him, the other was the one who was... Supposedly defending him, but the thing it's so complicated gets far Hence 10 episodes it gets so far beyond the Cape tears that we've seen here too far. It brings in Family members course throughout the narrowed it too, but it really brings them in we I think we have a With a daughter we have some kind of strange Lesbian relationship going on and what could be a more current lesbian relationship and With the boy, we have mind -altering drugs.
Once again, perfect. Everybody's crazy. It seems like the kids are falling in love with Javier Bardem's character, the guy who's plotting against the family, and he, in effect, is able to turn the kids kind of against the family to an extent for a while. There are a lot of fun scenes in it. The girl, the daughter of the family is in the backyard swimming, enjoying herself and she's swimming underwater and she comes across the suitcase and she's underwater holding her breath. She opens the suitcase and out comes the parts of a dismembered body.
Now, that's what I consider entertainment. Yeah. Speaking of that particular scene, I have a trailer queued up ready to go. Let's take a listen. Not going to be able to. I don't know what the sound of a dismembered body coming out of a cooler is on the bottom of a pool, but it is in fact. It is in fact. It is, in fact, part of this trailer. Well, let's just give it a go. Let me ask you a question. What is your worst fear? Max Cady was released from prison. What does that have to do with us? He's been locked up for 17 years for a murder he didn't do.
You were his lawyer, right? I had a good life once, too. Are you afraid of me? Why would I be afraid of you? Is there any way Max could know about what we did? Speak of the devil. We did what we thought was right. He says hi. Why does Max actually hate you? Because he went to prison. For a murder he didn't commit, right? I don't feel safe. You know you're spiraling, right? You believe Max more than your wife? I see something eating at you. I never said a word about what happened. That dog in there, that was one of my favorite scenes.
Max Cady, Javier Bardem, adopted this big black dog that was potentially very vicious, although the dog took a liking to Max Cady, Javier's character. But anyway, Max Cady was walking the dog past these attorneys, these two attorneys, this man alive attorney's house, lovely mansion with a backyard pool, et cetera. But he stopped at the hiring gate in front. The family happened to be outside, and they all assumed. They all saw Max there at the front gate with his big black dog on the other side of the front gate.
The dog goes, and Max Cady says, he says, hi. Yeah, I think that was even was that in the is that in the trailer? It seemed like it was. Yeah, that was there. It certainly is not for radio. You really kind of need to see it. But it sounded so good that I didn't want to leave that out of the discussion. I thought it might. jog of memory or two. So my impressions of the movies, the thing I liked best about the movies was Max Cady would do everything just inside the law, just inside the law. So he wouldn't go get, you know, end up arrested or in trouble.
But at the same time, he's doing these things to force other people to do things that are outside of the law. And so he's brilliant in that way. And so my question to you, so my favorite Max Cady was Robert Mitchum, because I thought of the two, between he and De Niro, because I thought that he really sort of personified someone with the intelligence to actually. pull that off. When we come back, I'm right up against it again, we'll talk more about this and see how it stacks up compared to previous versions and maybe give the professor a chance to answer my question.

S2: Cape Fear Bardem v Mitchum & De Niro
I don't have no damn favorite discussant. I don't like any of them. Well, we are back. And we were talking about Max Cady and I sort of, I don't know, suggested who my favorite Max Cady was, which was Robert Mitchum in the 1962 movie. And I was wondering how the professor thought that this new portrayal by Bardem was or wasn't what it should be. Well, the whole thing was longer. You know, we just mentioned it was 10 episodes. I don't know how much time is in each episode. What, 48 minutes or something?
I don't know. But anyway, that's enough time to explore a lot of characters and a lot of events. So there's a lot of stuff going on simply for entertainment value and good entertainment that wouldn't have been possible in the first two. And one of these guys was Scorsese, who was... involved in the De Niro one. So he's back, of course, with Spielberg, or maybe it's the other way around, to do this current one. So there's a little bit of lineage there, a little bit of connection. I assume that Scorsese and Spielberg were probably sitting around enjoying maybe a combination of some good scotch and some Indian hashish.
And one of them said, hey, I've got an idea how we can make a few million dollars real quick. Let's come up with a new Cape fever. What do you say? You know? Yeah, I think that's a good idea. Let's do that. Contact Javier Bardem. I think he's he's between projects right now. OK, so I think maybe Javier delivered them the substances they were using and they hey Javier while you're while you're here. This is what we're thinking about. Yeah. Boy, do we have an idea for you. So tell me, what did they do to flesh this out?
So we're talking about a two hour movie versus basically, well, a little less than 10 hours, I guess, maybe nine more. I mean, was it individual incidents that had happened in their lives and fleshed out fully or what? I'm just wondering how this was formatted. For example, the couple, the married couple who were not married but were, uh, canoodling together at the time that Javier was sent off to prison for 17 years. Anyway, this couple, well, Bardem, uh, Max Cady moved in to a house right across the street from them.
So, ha ha ha, that was pretty good. Because one day the lady said, go home, Max, just go home. And he said, uh, go home and no problem, no problem. She walked across the street with his dog and... They couldn't believe it. He lived across the street now. But at one point, this couple went across the street to visit him. And he was preparing some food in the kitchen. They were sitting in the living room watching him. And this nice -looking lady comes into the scene there in the doorway in the kitchen.
And Max and the lady embrace. And they fondle and kiss so much, I think it embarrasses the lawyer couple. They kind of look away. I've heard something like, oh, she's my lady. It's just stuff like that. There's stuff going on all the time. There's some crazy lesbian chick living inside the wall and in a secret room in the basement of the mansion. And she's getting along with the daughter of the prosecutor and the defense attorney that have been married now for many years. It's just one crazy thing after another.
It never lets up. So in the movies, in the movies, it was, you know, Max had basically struck up a relationship with the young daughter. Same thing here. It sounds like we've got another idea for daughter here. OK, all right. Daughters into that plus two or three other relationships. OK, all right. I mean, why not? Why not? Yeah, she and Max traveled to Cape Fear. You know, we have to have an actual something or other on scene. Geographic Cape Fear. We have to have a houseboat there. So anyway, they the daughter and Max wrote to Cape Fear and he had Dropped her in some manner.
He sedated her they were getting along fine, but he wanted her unconscious for a while when they arrived there and She the daughter had taken her dad's one of her dad's semi -automatic handguns with her Of course Max brought that out and then there was an investigator there working for the lady that I put him away for 17 years. This investigator was looking at the houseboat, the area where Max's family was located. So Max takes advantage of having the girl passed out in the car waiting for him as he goes to the houseboat.
And he shoots the investigator with a kind of right in his stomach with his own body against him. He kind of muffled the sound. And that investigator's body is the one that shows up later at the family pool. But it's just one thing after another. Also seeing this other chick who's, I think they seem to have a kind of a lesbian thing going on. And there's some guy who's after the daughter. And the daughter doesn't seem to want his advances. And Max Katie happens to be in the area, of course, when a guy is making unwanted aggressive advances to the daughter.
So Max Katie dispatches this guy very quickly. Max is a very formidable, strong, frightening presence. He gets the guy off the scene. There's some good scenes from memory of Max when he was in prison. They're filmed in black and white. That's pretty cool. And there's three or four guys that are going to kill Max in prison. They jump him, and I think it's in a gym in the prison. And he takes care of them one by one. They deliver some pretty serious wounds to him. One of them hits him in the head with something that pierces his skull.
And he actually touches his brain to an extent that has to be figured out later surgically. But Max is able to kill all of them, three out of four of them, one of them was, by bludging them with weights, that kind of thing, kettle weight, you name it. But it's a very violent scene, and it does leave Max with a lifelong injury to his brain, which fits in perfectly with the story. It's always good to have your protagonist with a brain injury. That's what I call entertainment. So in the previous movies they sort of set up where this Hyper intelligence comes from in in the character and You know in the previous movies Mitcham and De Niro both but more so in the De Niro version of the 1991 version again a very scary guy like you're describing but Yeah, but I thought maybe didn't lay the groundwork well enough for, you know, this hyper -intelligent chess player that, you know, Mitcham was in his portrayal.
And where do we find that in this portrayal? Where's this come from? I don't know where it comes from. Javier Bardem just seems like he's just a master manipulator. One, great at manipulating, unbelievable. Where it comes from, I don't know, but jeez, he just plays everyone like a marionette. It seems like he plays them against one another and to his own advantage. It's just one thing after another. It's done well. So what are we given this on a scale of 1 to 10? Well, I personally would give it a 10.
I don't know what could be any better. I mean, I think it's, the previews are great. And the movie, I don't, I can't think of any movie I've seen that I liked any better. I mean, like, for example, I watched Easy Rider, I think, 21 times because that had to do with America and politics and the South and New Orleans and Mardi Gras and drugs and Peter Fonda. Of course, I became disappointed in Peter Fonda when he apparently wanted Baron Trump, Don's son, to be... What's the word there? We can hear.
Peter Fonda wanted to put Baron Trump into a cage with a pedophile and have him sodomized, apparently. And so I kind of lost it there for Peter Fonda. I'd like him up until then. And what's his name? Who's that movie producer that ended up shooting one of his women and went to prison? He was an easy rider in the back of a Rolls -Royce doing a big drug deal. I think he was handing over some money to Fonda and Hopper. where they went on their way to New Orleans. What is that? Escaping me at the moment.
You know, of course, gosh, sorry. Not helping you out with this one very much. Just escaping me at the moment. I think he's dead now, but he appeared in court with a wild afro. He's a white guy. You're not talking about Pete or... Gosh, this is horrible. Music producer is what we're talking about. Right, yeah, and I just, Spector, Phil Spector, are we talking about Phil Spector? Of course, I mean that was, I hate it when that happens. So 10, that is a high bar for the very first review here. Yeah, that's a must watch for certain.
I would say watch it. I watch a lot of movies, and most of them are when it's all said and done. Disappointing? Yeah, exactly. Good word. If I watch a movie that's mediocre and it has a super good ending, I think, wow, this ending is good. I didn't expect that. That kind of makes the whole movie better for me. Or if I watch a movie that seems like, wow, this is really good. But at the very end, it falls flat. That kind of lowers my opinion of the whole movie. But this one seemed like it was pretty good.
Oh, yeah. I mean, you're going to have to enjoy, of course, some violence and gore and more violence and more gore and more violence and killing and a lot of manipulation. But that's what makes a movie good for me. That's what I call entertainment. Well, from movies that are rating 10 to a TV that will rate a negative 10. That one's good. That I call the Sarah Comedy Hour.
Just because it makes me laugh. She's funny. She's cute. I love her to death. But it does make me laugh. So explain what Balin Out Loud is. Balin has Tourette's. And so she does a lot of... And she has it unusually... Vulgar tic. Yes. Yeah, right and and I mean I understand it's a medical issue and I'm not laughing at that I've just it it's just she's just so cute I mean if you see her she's just as cute as she can be and And then to to see these things coming out of her mouth at some of the best times is just you know It's an it's interesting and entertaining to watch and causes laughter from Yeah Yeah out of nowhere and oh my yeah, why so bailing out loud Just stop by and watch it.
Yeah. Yeah, it's coming up. They'll be getting married I think on the next one. Well, where are we starting out?
S3: Trash TV Friday — Baylen & 90 Day
Oh, geez. Let's start with our all -time favorite, I guess. 90 Day. 90 Day. So what do you know about the 90 Day, folks? What's going on? Who do you want to talk about? Well, go ahead. Start us off. Well, let's just throw in Shay and Annabelle, just because they're pretty nondescript. Tell us who Shay and Annabelle are. Annabelle is from the Philippines and so she's very structured, I'll use the word, opinionated,
and kind of bossy. Kind of? Yeah, a little bit. I think we all know some Filipino women and they just have how things are going to be done. It's just going to be that way. And that's how she is. And she's trying to make Shay. Who is Shay? How do I explain Shay? Well, that's unfortunately your job, I'm afraid. Yeah, he's a heavy drinker and likes to party a lot. None of those things. that she really approves of. So, she's changing him. She's getting him to exercise, which I think will be good for him.
So, you know. Yeah, it's been kind of a battle of wills. Between her and his daughter. It appears that Annabelle is going to win. And then there is another problem between Annabelle and Shay's daughter. I don't know her name. Yeah, I forget her name as well. But she's used to a free flow of money from Shea's Pocket, which Annabelle has put an end to. So there is interesting TV as well. They did kind of come together when Annabelle went to try to find a veil for her wedding dress and they kind of had a little talk.
Don't know how much I believe that. Or so it seems. Or so it seems. Exactly. Who's next? Of course, all time favorite. You could do a whole show on nothing but Katie you're right now and Josh this is our favorite couple oh I don't know if favorites the word but they're the ones you talk about because she's a train wreck yeah she is complete training wreck what did we describe her as last time yeah it's just really hard a active alcoholic yeah and She actually called herself a hoe. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, she did in fact There's been plenty of conversations between her and her boyfriend Josh is who is from Great Britain and He's quite a formal guy They of course all these couples meet usually on the internet and for me as I explained earlier it's always more fun for me when they are completely mismatched and they're the Foreign person is obviously here for the green card Like you'll see someone here to marry someone who's 95 years old and they're, you know, 22.
I mean, that that's where the fun really is. But this particular couple fairly well matched, fairly well matched in age. They look they look like they would like actually care for each other if they met each other out. So and I think they did spend some time before. So this is Katie describing her religious upbringing. Convert, but I do need our children to be raised Lutheran, because I don't want them to go to hell. It feels like an ultimatum, and it sounds like what you're saying is my way will go away.
I feel like I've told you my family is Lutheran, and I'm Lutheran. So I feel like it shouldn't blindside you. But made it pretty clear that I'm undecided, agnostic, so I don't know. Is that fair? So the there's this religious element that shocked me because there has not been anything in any time through the whole show Where religion ever came up till they went to see her parents and all of a sudden I'm religious and We've seen plenty of this so She's getting ready to go on her bachelorette party with her with her girlfriends and just to just to prime the pump here a little bit.
In previous outings with the couple, Katie always ends up with someone else and not just kind of with someone else. She'll be making out with them. Yeah, full on making out in the bar with somebody right in front of Josh. And she wants to change these things. So before she goes out on this bachelorette party, they discuss the rules. Well, he didn't necessarily set rules. She did and here we go. I can have fun with the girls and be loyal and not a hoe and not want to make out with everyone I know and I just want to show off my good behavior so you feel confident getting married.
That's my goal. I don't like the sound of that. If you were to give me a grade tomorrow on how I did tonight, what would like the criteria be or what should I look out for? Well, I guess that the big ones, did he get intimate with someone else? Roll number one. Don't make out with other people try not to black out. Okay. No waking up. No blacking out That's good. They're not just over it be rememberable No throwing up in the road. That would be great. Actually vomit control is actually probably a good one So the rules were Don't don't be intimate with anyone else No making out no making out no blacking out no blacking out they rhyme and then the last one was what it was vomit no puking in the road yeah those are three rules to live by in case you needed to know yeah so they're they're working through their differences my favorite part other than that though was when she's on this little bridal party bachelorette party she decides to tell them all that she wants an open marriage and she's hoping that doesn't end the relationship so I'm just like what the hell are you talking about girl you you've got to be Lutheran and the kids have to be raised Lutheran but you want to open marriage or it might be a deal breaker again my god girl Yeah, if you don't watch 90 Day, you're unfamiliar with it, I encourage you to at least stop by.
Watch the train wreck. At least stop by. It's something. We've got a couple more couples to discuss in the last segment of the program tonight when we again consider more trash TV. You're listening to Doc G and the Discussants. We're talking about culture. Culture. Wow. What a term for the Culture Friday Trash TV Friday. Make sure you stay close. it. I suppose we should apologize. I'd like to apologize for my proximity to watch trash TV at any opportunity. Okay, so... Run from this show! Run as fast as you can from this show! Get away! Go! Speaking of a trashy show... Who's next on our radar screen? Oh... What do you feel about Marissa and Edward? I hate Marissa. I hate her. I mean, I hate her. And I think she's one of the worst people that they've ever had on the show. And that's saying something. That's saying something. Even more so than Angela?
Uh, yeah, I think so. You really disliked Angela to the core. I disliked her as well. So we've told the audience a little bit about Marissa and Edward. Edward from the Dominican Republic and Marissa hooked up with Edward when she went down there on vacation he was one of our tender at the hotel and the usual right the usual and Somehow they decide they're going to be married now. He's younger not Quite a bit younger is he not yeah, and then he has no marketable skill in the United States and cannot work This is another thing about the show They cannot work in the United States at all until they're married and get their K -1 visa stuff straightened out.
So the person that they've come to live with is completely and totally responsible for them until, up until about a year after, until they get their work visa. If the marriage fails, that person is financially responsible for them for 10 years going forward. So there's a little skin in the game on these things. And there's been people who now are supporting their former spouse after a divorce. It's incredible to think that these two people Decided that they were going to move not not so much from his point of view that but she was going to go forward and have him move He left everything that he owned in the Dominican Republic.
He stepped off a plane in New York City and almost Instantly she didn't want me all Pretty much almost instantly She speaks down to him treats him basically like one of their children and you know, it's it's she's she's just kind of an horrible person. I think we've got something here. I don't know if it really magnifies the amount of horrible she is or not, but let's give this a try. I'm not a person that likes you like being the bad and just doing nothing. I'm not like that. I never be like that.
The only thing that I really, really, really need is time. Figure it out. I mean, I don't... When you say, like, I'm gonna figure it out. Like, I don't know. I haven't really seen you figure it out yet. I do have faith in you as a person, and I do believe that you could be very successful here. But I've yet to see you be successful in your life at all. For a man, the most important part in my country is the respect. If a woman don't respect, this is a problem. And this is a problem for me. If she don't get me with that respect that I need, we're not gonna get married.
So you can see the level of respect. There's none. None. Brought him to New York City. This woman has a, this is another reality TV show, Klinefeld's. what say yes to the dress she works there she's in a manager there so she brings him to town they live in the suburbs she drives into town for her work she has a apartment in town and brought him into town did he have any money at all she didn't yeah go ahead no she and that's what she asked him do you have any money to be completely let loose in New York City on his own didn't have a dime no money no nothing and expected him to one know where to go what to do how to do it um and the money to do it i mean really i mean i don't know how you expect that from anybody even if they did have money i mean if you've not been to new york before are you going to know what to do and and how to do it and where to go when we're not to go and i mean i just thought it was Well, one of the reasons I brought that little story up was because that's illustrative of the sorts of situations she puts in him.
Had a party at her home and invited the neighborhood, all of her friends. There's, I don't know, 20 people there. He doesn't really know anyone, doesn't really know how to interact. But you know, makes a good faith effort and was talking to people and, you know, seem seem that people like him fine. But she gets in her circle of girlfriends outside when everybody sort of splits up, guys go one way, women go another way. She does nothing but bad mouth the entire time. And, you know, wonder aloud whether she's actually going to go through with this and Oh, you know, if they're on the same level.
Yes, if they're on the same level. And I'm not quite sure. Really? This guy is an intellectual match. Wow. Yeah. And so just a rotten. I love that she told him before they split off for him to not talk baseball. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He can he was don't don't talk about nothing but baseball. Yeah. That might embarrass her in front of her friends. So. That one is one that I disliked her I'm waiting for the next show because They did a preview kind of they're giving them each other two weeks And they're gonna revisit the situation in two weeks so they show the the preview of them sitting down to dinner and They start talking and he gets a little louder than what she feels is appropriate If looks could kill, oh my word, I can't imagine what is going to come spewing out of that woman's mouth when she gets onto him because it was horrible.
That look that she gave and I want to see the whole thing in context and what actually comes out of her mouth. Once again, we want to encourage you to ruin your households with rotten TV and you know, catch up with these people's life. Who else do we want to quickly know before we call Trash TV Fridays and the Doc G edition of our culture section? I don't know, are we still talking 90 -day or do we want to talk about? Whatever you want to do, we only got about a minute left. Love After Lock -Up unfortunately is done for this season.
Now let's explain what Love After Lock -Up is again. That's when somebody is... started dating or actually married somebody while they're in prison. So when they come out of prison. Right, exactly. So this is what happens after they come out of prison. So it basically shows them go and pick them up as they're released from jail and their lifestyle and things that happen after they get out. So we wrapped that one up just a little while ago, but we've got a couple, some couples that are coming back.
Thank goodness Bonita's coming back. I don't care if the others came back, but she's hilarious. I love her. what would be a would -be throuple wannabe well wannabe from the boyfriend that she was supporting in prison he came out and his lifelong dream was to live in a throuple and he had introduced another woman to bonita and bonita was having none of it oh no and so our our hero ended up with quite a bit of mustard and ketchup and sorts of condiments on him in a restaurant which was enjoyed seeing oh yeah it was funny so they're coming back for the next season there's another couple Dia and Cyrus are coming back to next season that's a girl that had previously been with Cyrus's friend when he came out They broke up and so she hooked up with Cyrus.
So let's see how that works because he went and met up with the old boyfriend and then he was mad at her. So I don't know how that's gonna go going forward. So I'm curious to see how that works out. I'm sure we will see. I'm sure we'll be there. Hey, we want to thank you for joining us this week.
